That my friend is a darn good price. Proud of you for getting that pellet for that price. When oil was high, (2008) I was paying $279 a ton. Very ashy in my Napoleon, but burned very well in my P68. Every stove and every operator has different experiences with the same pellets. Those Energex make good heat.

Brought home 3 ton of Somerset's tonight...200.00 per ton with an 11% rebate in the form of a store giftcard (mail in rebate). That's $178.00/ton, only downside is they were not stored under cover! Paid for 5 ton, could only transport 3 tonight!

YOU DID! Things got in the way.... honey-doo lists are killers. I am always busy in the fall and spring and the hot summer weather was a major league turn off, just the thought of schlepping a couple of tons. Urrrggggg. So now I can either haul the ton of Sets and Blazers from the shed to the covered porch for final winter placement, OR, just grab two new tons and dump them on the porch. I hate to handle things twice.... so two fresh tons for porch! Jill at LP was great to deal with on the phone and I need to be connected to another good source of premium pellets. BTW, I can't believe how awesome my stove is burning since I replaced the glass door gasket. Should have done it the beginning of last season. Pot is immaculate and just need a quick wipe of the ash on the glass. Burned about a full bag over the last two weeks. Gets cold in the morning in my geo.

I assume (lol) all Menards have the same deal! If you make the drive, head another hour east and spend the night!

I just checked, Looks like your deep east Ohio. But still not really a bad drive. I would probably do it if I had a way to move more than 2 tons.

Are menards has AWF hardwood again this year. Not bad, but definitely not Somerset.
