Crappy day this morning. Went to Philly for routine UPS maintenance only to find one string of batteries are bad. One battery opened up and took out the rest of the string. One that we could see was leaking and the rest are ballooned up.

I given second chances on several occasions over the years. Some have worked, some haven't.

Larry my goal is no cane no walker, I'm past the walker and hopefully getting past the cane. I have 2 canes can play games with them but still want them gone.

$8K for 48 batteries.....this site "cheaper" compared most of my other sites due to the smaller batteries in this unit.

Don't blame you one bit. I wanted my gone, but that is not in the cards unless I can get small enough to have surgery. The other part is I don't want to fall down. Without the cane I am very tippy. Good luck getting rid of your sticks.

I lugged one around today but didn't need it. That suited me just fine. Still have other things to get rid of.

    Hey smoke show

The wrench lite came back on the Fusion. :( This time when Joey was driving. Him and the Mrs went for Flu shots and got stuck with it. Buzzed me and I told him to cycle the key and try it again. Restart still had wrench lite and car sputtered. I headed down, Car has cooled off by then and I don't get a wrench lite. So I drive it home. Half way I get the wrench but key cycle clears it again. Wrench lite comes on again as I get to the door yard. Left it running ran in and grabbed the scan tool. Cycled the key hooked up scanner and restarted. Caught the wrench lite and it came up with the 2011 code.

Turns out it is the Throttle body and Ford has extended the warranty 10 years or 150K miles. Call ford and he stressed if they can't get it to fault it will be a minimum of $109.95 diagnostics. Checked a local Ford parts site(Tasca Ford .com) and See its only $58 for the TB and $3 for the gasket. Figure the Ford dealer wouldn't catch the code and I'd only get a bill anyway so, I just winged it and ordered the TB/Gasket(less then $70 with shipping/tax ect). If I get stuck changin it? I might need to bend your ear bud!! Hope you can bail me out if need be?

Changing looks like its not to tough(4 screws couple a clamps and the connections). I'm going to reset the PCM(Disconnect the neg cable and isolate-Hook jumper from pos cable to neg for a minute or 2). Then restart and let idle for 10 to 15 minutes. Anything else I should look out for??

Yep loose terminals within the connector housing, the females. I know I'm dirty.... On rare occasion you'll see a loose crimp also, not too often.
