    The same thing I have been saying for years whenever someone says the this winter will be record snowfall-record cold-etc!

    Cold start, warm winter? Or is it warm start and then freeze you nads off winter? I never know! :hair:

    We have seen two now and the bands are equal size and the middle one is very orange.

    Supposedly the wider the orange band, the warmer the winter. And usually a warmer winter will bring more snow or ice but not always.

    My wife just told me she's been seeing them on her walk, the middle part is mostly brown.

    We have a older man from this area saying we'll get hit with a big ice storm this winter.
