The depth of the grain really pops with the finish. Excellent work.

Thanks! Don't think I'm gonna quit the day job just yet, but Greg and I talked about possible projects down the road.

Considering the amount of labor and materials that go into a project like this, we'd have to be talking pretty good money to even consider it. If I was sawing all this lumber into cutting boards instead I could have made dozens of them and I'd probably be done already.

Finish is coming along nicely on the tables.

Parts for the benches were too right up until I took the last pic and my table saw decided it had enough.:hair: It seemed like it blew a fuse but the motor was really hot and it wasn't a fuse. I could probably finish up with the bandsaw or maybe take the parts to my dad's and use his. I really hope it decides to start working again - losing that will be a major setback.

Yeah it's a hang behind, but the reset wasn't working last night. I tried it again this morning and were back in business.

    Great news, Shawn!
Have you taken a peak into the housing if possible? Any saw dust in the windings? Bad for electric motors.....
Do you have a spare computer fan laying around?
Strap one to the end bell and either push or pull air (depending on the motor's built-in fan blades---if such exist).

We've been hitting it pretty hard this week - shooting for a delivery date this coming Wednesday. I think we're in pretty good shape. Got the bench frames cooking. I didnt stop for any progress pics of the parts. Used every last clamp I had.

    Shawn,
No matter what, you never have enough clamps.

I can see that once they are installed and in place, they will become a tourist attraction for Hoarders. Anyone of us passing through will have to go to the restaurant and sit at those tables. Everyone will be more excited about the furniture than the food.
