Started burning a couple days ago. Nature's Own (Same as Stove Chow) from Lowes scored for $99 a ton. So far as expected. No ill effects from the outside storage at Lowes or my house.
I got my $1.98 GS's roastin. Still have 20 some odd bags before I get to the NO's. Then I got the expensive FSU($4.38/bag) They should get me through this winter and keep me off the last of my sets or Hamer's. Seeing the Hamer's are from 08, I'll likely burn them before the sets.
Well after the 3+ tons of 1.98 narth american and gs i go to the high octane 3.98 a bag platinums and orford softies. After that expemsive blazers oakie golds and spruce points
And my guess is if we have a mild winter i will be backfilling with more $199 a ton pellets towards years end.
Even if we get an average winter. The price of oil seems steady. Should be interesting. Literally have no room to put even 10 bags in, So I need a good winter to burn some off before the spring fill. If it don't happen I can sit on it till next year........
Main floor stove is burning cheap Inferno Golds bought last spring $100/ton. Cellar Dweller is burning (I use that word loosely) the crappy, and relatively expensive, Therma-Glo's; leftovers from what I bought last fall ($239 or $259/ton - forget which). I don't have much of them left and they are fine for this time of year.
