see this weather pattern. The rain is coming from the east, and looking at the wider picture, it seems to be pivoting around Indy.....counterclockwise, all the way up into Lake Superior. Just thought it was interesting......carry on.
Yes...it's crazy. East winds, counterclockwise radar, and many inches of rain in the past 3 days here in indy. Just yesterday my gutters were overflowing Cuz they couldn't keep up! I cut my grass wed eve and it needs it again already!
Yep, I only notice this alternate universe activity maybe once a year or so. Could be happening more, and I'm totally clueless when it does. Maybe it's aliens. They seem to be back in the news lately. Pesky little devils.
Yep. a lot like a Noreaster. But not cold enough to snow. Quite often when we get winds from the east it will bring trees down that west winds would not. We didn't get a lot of wind from this storm. It was pretty windy Thursday evening (at least on the west side of the mountains) but I didn't see any tree damage
Maybe off topic a bit, but I had to go to the little hoarder's room at 3:30 am this mornin, and when I peaked outside, it was almost as bright as it was at dusk...... At 3:30 in the mornin???? Weird.
Eastern winds are normal this time of year,(east coast) I think it's just pushing further westward than normal.
It's spitting rain all day here. Minus that annoying rain, it's a great day to haul and stack wood. At least I just had to take wood I stacked and haul it home. Now, the weather guessers said it was going to clear up this afternoon.
Same here. It's been raining on and off most of the week. The sun finally poked out today for a couple hours, just long enough to break out the mower and cut the grass. Another couple days and I could have had my neighbor bring his hay baling equipment over.
I may have to do that......the chippy population seems to be non-existent lately. Wonder what to use as bait for aliens. No, I'm not volunteering for "probe" duty.
