That looks to be in fairly good condition; what are they asking for it and which implements are included?
If you have ever been anywhere near one of those spreaders in use you would not ask. The tractor seat is way too close.
That picture of the tractor has a manure spreader behind it and I believe he was referring to it because you do not want to be close to it when in use, unless you wanted some unpleasant aroma thrown upon you.
My Oops; Rook was saying someone had a 8N for sale and I got confused. I am happy to meet another member of the 8N club. We rebuilt the engine on Dad's years ago but the tractor sees little work, me ploughing in the spring and me hauling wood. I do have some sheet metal work and the eyes are missing; Dad remove the lamps because they had rusted out. I want to get some used original and get them back on. Lamps were an option on the 8N, they did not come with lamps from the factory. I hope to get some of the problems with the sheet metal repaired but don't want to use putty.
Some of the farmers here spread the liquid manure; I am very aware of how it smells before it dries. However, it is high in nitrogen and really greens up a pasture.
I believe this was originally a horse drawn manure spreader and is there for yard art more than anything else.
Well back in 1938 they would take all the farm animal waste and they would throw it into that manure spreader and then when full they would go and spread it.
Don't feel bad with those cuts.. looks to be a clump of ash.. my last clump had dead leaders and we're intertwined with each so bad had to drop them in sets of two... then dead branches falling every time you set a wedge! as Eric said they are down your safe
We've got tons of dead ash around here makes for good cords but what a grenade of flying dead shrapnel every time you drop one. Worst part is if it's in a yard somewhere where you have to clean up the thousands of little brittle twigs
Ash, the self limbing tree. I just found a dead standing Ash yesterday, going hunting for more today.
