    Was cold like that here also. But for us, no frost. Some areas had ice in standing water, but not here. Augusta area is high up so I think that helps.

    I took a vacation day to take delivery of a new custom vanity top. I figured I would spend all day at home waiting for them to call and say they were 20 minutes out. Not so :thumbs:! They delivered first thing this morning. Unfortunately, it wasn't the 1 integrated bowl style that I had ordered, but a two-bowl, under-mount style :headbang: . Arrgghh!

    So I called HD and after some searching, they found that they had the correct top still there. However, they won't deliver sometime until this afternoon. I'm not holding my breath about that one being correct either, or that it will make it here before I have to go to my evening job, but we'll see. Yep, that's the way these things go for me on a regular basis :picard:.

    Shortening frames is always a fun project.

    Been working on a truck thing with my Son in law since last fall about this time.

    Going to do a repower with a 6.2 GM V8 diesel, TH400 tranny, NP205 (As a reduction box ahead of 6x6 t case)
    Rebuild the cab using two cabs to end up a 4 door cab.

    Adding full air brakes instead of the air over oil system installed in 1953

    Power steering

    A real project.

    Current goal is to get the frame cleared of all old hose, wires, tubing and extra brackets and crap not needed.

    Great fun

    Kiddo's birthday tomorrow. Seventeen and going for his license on Friday. Makin me feel lil older more. Hoping to get out on the lake Saturday, But the weather looks ugh-ky. Won't be long and we'll be picklin it for winta.
