What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

Morning all, new day starting. Morning fuel-up in progress. Clear now but might get some rain late this afternoon. Have a few small things to do on the plow truck to get it ready for this winter coming. Also need to place a new-to-me 8kw propane powered Generac generator. Have had a 5kw portable till now, but this 8kw unexpectedly came on the market at a fantastic price so time to up-power and put the 5kw on the market place. Everyone have a great and safe day.

 

Good morning, a cool and crisp 48 this morning.
Took a late nite ride on the bike last nite after 12 1/2 of 'em in the workhouse. Rolled around for a good 30+ miles on the back roads, crops are being harvested, the sky was clear, stopped by a buddys barn for a smoke and bottle of water,,it was just after 1am when I got home,,,,didn't wanna' stop.
Plenty to do, you folks have a good day.

 

Rain last night and early this morning. I don't think we got a lot though. 12 hours at the real boss's work today. The "other boss" had to stay home with a sick child this morning. Our youngest has a hurting stomach. Ugh. I was just sharing my recliner with her last night and got a hug and kiss. Let's hope I didn't get it passed along to me!

 

Cool damp with light rain this AM, stove humming along, coffee going down real good. Comfort!

 

Beautiful day today...hit mid 40s last night and should reach 70 today.

No rain for us....but we've had our share so we aren't hurting.

 

Days like today sitting behind a desk is unbearable. I want to go outside and play.

Well, got er' in place. Hopefully, my gas installer will be here by the end of the week to do the gas connection. Was lucky to find this very low hour, maintained unit for about 1/4 the price of a new one.

Add another cold wet windy work day to the list.

The boss asked about the "R" word after work.....

 

More rain came today while at work. Not good. I will have to do some other work in the morning to try to give it a little more time to dry. But by noon I will have to start on the backfilling again. I can place a drain tile pipe in the barn I'll need. Then plumb the water faucet up and get that ready. And figure out where and then place a sump hole as well. There should not be a lot of water that comes in the barn. But it will travel through block wall so I want to make sure it drains out as well.

 

Retirement, Raise or Replacement?????????????? Inquiring minds need to know.........

There hasn't been a raise since way back in the 2000's sometime....
Replacement would result in immediate retirement!

I heard thunder north of here, did you get that? We had a nice sunny day, all day.

 

Inflation as well as cost of living going up without a raise is standard business MO now.
