Oh don't I hate those. At least I hate the prep. The staff at the hospital are good. But I just hate the prep. Seems like that 5 years comes up again fast. There sure are. We survive because we graduated from the school of hard knocks. We learned to do with what we had. You know that old saying, "If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem." That and the belief in a Higher Power has helped us see the light of each day.
Well, now I don't feel so bad. Arthritis is my biggest complaint. It's psoriatic arthritis, and it attacks soft tissue as well as the joints. My tendons where they attach to the bone get inflamed and it gets quite painful. The worst part is the fatigue that comes with it. I never know how I'm going to feel when I wake up in the morning. The pain moves around from one joint to the other. One day it's my hands, the next it's my feet, hips and Achilles' tendons. Can't do half of what I did five years ago, but each day above ground is a good one. You all are inspiration to keep forging ahead.
