    Wow looks like a great place to get some wood. Sure is a lot of slash around there. Are you able to get wood that is already cut down or are you getting standing dead.

    No standing , just the wood that is already down

    campinspecter I remember you and I discussing this exact thing not to long ago. Out here in the Rockies we can but we must make sure its not a habitat tree. Its to bad you cant especially considering your "damp" environment. Im sure if it was legal youd be able to find some ready to burn low moisture content dead standing. It must be a great find when you harvest a blow down that is recent. Im all for following the law so hopefully others are as mindful as you.
