Some of these new diesels stink, like the some interim 4 tractors.

From what I see, that's only if they've been tunered.

Tier 5 is on the way. Oshkosh truck and defense is already planning for them. That makes us bang our heads.

Well my County has never had any kind of emissions.. If you want to run straight pipes, or zoomies? It's allowed in my County. We have no Echeck at all. For any vehicle.

I live in bodunkville Oh.. Farm country. They have never had any laws to pass any emissions test.

That's what we used to say. Then emissions testing commenced.

Is it county try run or state run? If it's left up to counties that's pretty sweet.

Most inspection people don't know what they are looking at when they do an inspection, so with a tune to turn off the check engine light it all passes.
Most do a visual for a cat if the inspector is has half a brain they might know what a dpf looks like. But cats and dpfs can all get gutted.
Some guys love their stacks so much they reinstall stock exhaust to pass then unbolt it and hook their stacks back up.
They do "test pipes" for cars as well where a cat bolts in straight pipe swaps out.

Some people go as far as registering they vehicle out of state.

If they don't sniff the exhaust it does nothing. I have a simulator in my sequoia cause I had a cat die right after I bought it. For $150 I turned my check engine light off, no way I was buying a cat factory ones are expensive and they say aftermarket ones die fast. Toyota are reportedly hard on cats?

You've got the same 4.7 v8 in your toyota that I have in my 4runner. It's been really no issues, nearly literally tires, oil, and brakes. An abs sensor, front wheel bearing, water pump and timing belt, spark plugs and filters and I just now at 160k have front sway bar bushings getting worn. Those are all wear items.

No issues with anything exhaust related. Never heard anything about that motor being rough on cats.

I have heard toys in general. ..not necessarily the 4.7. Juse referencing Google research...Probably stuff I read on toy forums. Toyotanation, tundra forum....at this point I don't know where I read it.

I have 180k on the 3.0 v6 highlander and no issues. Knock on wood.

My good brother was telling me about the benefits of this and that when building. (He is a very smart and driven man that I respect greatly.)

He said I don't mean to beat a dead horse, but. You should do this and ........

So I replied with my favorite...

Maybe Grizzly Adam could ad it to our smileys somewhere.

There is one where the horse has 2 smilies around it and it's like a GIF and the 2 of them have sticks and alternate hits on the horse as the horse bounces with each hit. Most probably know this one. That's the one I want to see. Hahaha

The lines over the picture are the watermarks. It's the equivalent of a signature. That watermark proves it's someone's property. = #Payupsucka!!
