    I dunno, I have 40 bags of Timber Heat down cellar that some people said were pretty good. It turns out mine are ash in a disguise.

    I would buy those all day long at 3 bucks a bag,I have burned a lot of chitty pellets over the past 11 yrs. but nothing that was that bad I would not buy if the price is right.I don't mind a bit of extra cleaning to save a few bucks,yup I'm a cheap azz :thumbs:

    I'm right there with you Rich - my stoves have large enough ash pans that more frequent cleaning is counted in weeks, not days. And

    During the week no one is home all day at my house so the pellet stove goes off when I leave for work in the am and set the oil burner thermostat at 60( I only use a 1/4 tank a year )soon as I get home from work I do a quick clean on the pellet stove and fire it up.On weekends when we are home the stove burns straight through until Mon. morning, so I'm used too daily quick cleans. My house heats so easily that lower heat output isn't a big deal either I just bump up to heat level 2 instead of the 1 I normally burn on.

    checked 2 local agway stores,both have easy heats @229 til this friday,they both also have "agway" brand @245 til this friday....i was told that the "agway" ones are "warm front" made in schuylerville ny....also told that the bag reads "southern states co-op"(thats prolly just agway)
