I have been wanting a new chainsaw, that I could run a 24 inch bar on.Most of my saws are Mcculloch's and Homelites and a couple of Stihls. It has been a toss up between the Dolmar,Jonsered and Husqvarna.

Ran across reviews on the Echo's and went too a saw shop that sells Echo and they only had one saw and it was the CS-600P with a 24 inch bar. They gave me what I thought was a very good price on the saw.Checked on craigslist and found a company that had the same saw for 420.00 plus tax.

I have used it for about 10 to 15 minutes, and I like how balanced it is with the 24inch bar on it and it does not nose dive when it is setting flat on the floor or ground.I have a lot of big oak to cut up with it and can't wait to put it to work.
I will keep you posted how well it does.

No pics? That is a good price. What's the difference between the 600 and 590? I would like to know what you think about the saw after some use.

Congrats on the new saw man :saw:
So I take it you paid more than $420 for it?

Are you sure the one listed for 420. was a 600p and not a 590?

I got a new CS-600p for 420 plus tax.The equipment supply company that I bought it from had it listed on craigslist. They was getting out of the saw business.I found one close too home for 500 out the door, which was a great deal.
