Looks like pretty much the same brush - and that is the part I can't get thru the 45, regardless if I had the drill going or trying by hand. Guess I'm just proving I'm much better at demolition than any of the other stuff.

I don't climb either. Oh, I might use a step stool when no one is looking. Otherwise I catch h@ll.

Last year I got a 3inch pellet brush with a few rods. Could not get it past the 90.

    Not sure what to use?

Draught is still bad here. Rain predicted for tomorrow and Monday. might get an inch. Seems too late for the farmers. Could have used it earlier for the hay crop too.

I bought the LintEater, mainly on the recommendation of Mike from Englander. Worked great in my system, but I only had 2-45's to go through. Best part of that kit was the vacuum adapter.
LintEater 10 piece System | Clean Dryer Lint with Ease!

They now also make a Soot Eater for Pellet stoves. If it had that same vacuum adapter, it would be perfect:

Well, for some reason I can't get the soot eater brush (either one) past my 45. I'm wondering if that long "lint trap" brush in the lint eater set is more flexible and would go thru - is that the part you use or do you used the "auger" brush?

bb, I always just used the "auger brush". Is your pipe 3" or 4"? Mine was 4", and that auger brush is 4". If your pipe is 3", you might want to try the lint trap brush.....4" might be too much. Or, (unless you plan on using the auger brush to actually clean a dryer vent), maybe trim the bristles on the auger brush to about 3 1/2", or even 3 1/4".

If you use 4" pipe, there should be no reason for the auger brush to get stuck in a 45.
