I've had nothing but problems with eye protection , everything I've tried had fogged like crazy and made the situation more dangerous. Saw these bugz mesh goggle and though they might be the solution. Anyone tried?

I use this and love it. The face shield is mesh. Never have any problem seeing trough it.

    +1
I like it, especially for liming. Protects you from getting slapped in the face ,
    banged on the head.
Have a place for the ear muffs with always looking for them. ;)

    Visibility seems fine to me.

For bucking I just wear eyes and ears. I use my construction glasses, they seem to work fine, no fog problems so far

Never leave the house without eyes and ears.... Those are the dewalt glasses that you can get at HD for about $10.. They do, however, fog up on the humid days.

Choose a full face shield combo like above as well, it covers primary p.p.e, you wont misplace it easily, and it might prevent a piece of shrapnel from lacerating a 1" long incision in your right sub mandibular neck area. I can show you the scar.

I bought the bugz mesh goggles this winter.

I like them a lot as i got tired of fogging my safety glasses. I don't find my forestry helmet with full face shield all that comfortable to wear for extended periods. It tends to rub and irritate my forehead and temples but that could be because I'm bald. I even wear the bugz when i split by hand to protect from stray bits that may fly my way.

Now that's a proper Valentine's day present - well done!

Have you had a chance to try them out? Let us know what you think once you do.

Have not used them yet. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow then head back to cold. If the ground doesn't soften much, but still lose some snow I may get out this weekend. The other thing though that I need to do is get the truck unloaded....have a nice big load on going to a guy from church. He says he has burnt 8 cords in his outdoor burner this year.... YUCH NO THANK YOU FOR ME.

I was wearing mine Wed. evening when I cut a pickup load. They really work out well in the colder weather.
