Thanks Pete - I fixed it for Will ..

Got the combustion blower, room fan, motors, and back electronics all cleaned up, still working on the Heat Exchange tubes - looks like this is gonna take another day ..

Gotta get some new brushes, and try to find the scraper tool I fabricated back in '14, or make another one.

    We're getting there though, slowly.

Off to work soon, have an excellent day all!

Picked up an ash vac this morning at HD, then a Harman cleaning tool at Rocky's stove shop

That Ash vac looks like a killer robot, keep it away from the Harman cleaning tool. Nice!

Didn't take long to clog up the ash vac. Yup, I had a lot of ash to vac out. But the sweet thing is how the stove ran after all of it was done. My problem is I have to carry the ash away so the grandkids and dogs don't get into it. Had I had my compost pile available, I would have dumped it there. I usually find something positive to do with it. I recycle the pellet bags by using them for used cat litter.

GLast night after work I uncovered the P43's exhaust, took out all the newspaper stuffed in there, and vacuumed out behind the stove to remove all the dust and cat hair.

Just in time too; this morning I woke up to Birdie's cage grate rattling because he was shivering. It was 64* in the house, and being the considerate pet owner I am, I made fire.

It's not on but I spent 3 hours cleaning the stove and venting. I'm ready for anything.

I can hear a couple of chainsaws running in the neighborhood. It seems like others are getting ready as well.

I like the claim on the box that it's "Indoor/Outdoor" firewood. I wonder what real "Indoor" firewood looks like, vs outdoor??
