First load (or part of a load) of wood to the porch today so we're about ready to fire up the stove. It won't be long now!

How many loads do you put up there at once, Dennis? How much is a load? Must be a new firewood measurement, eh?
Had a real small kindling fire this morning. Didn't really need it, but I wanted one. :D
It did take out the slight chill in the house.:dex:

A load is whatever that little trailer will hold Dave. It was not full but then, now the wood rack isn't full either... We'll work on that later. Right after I finished this, an old friend stopped in. Needless to say, nothing else got done the rest of the day except for chewing the fat.

Well, I remember that the trailer if 5' long but would have to measure the rest of it. Think I'll just keep on filling it.

Not too many footsteps involved in getting a few chunks for your fire when its stacked on the porch!

Good start, Sav! Speaking of propane, I don't know ifn I've ever heard/read anything about your backup heat. Do you have any other heat sources besides wood? Just curious

You are always prepared, Dennis. You put a lot of us to shame. Well, at least me, anyway.
