Finished up this afternoon. 7 rows 16' long, 8' high at the front of the shed and 7' at the rear.
Woodsplitter performed flawlessly, always starting on the first pull and no knots were big enough to stall the ram. I have about five hours give or take an hour on it so it's time for it's first oil change. Never used the 8 lb maul once which was sure nice for a change. My body thanks me for that. To think that I pounded on all those rounds over the years and all it took was a woodsplitter and about 2 gallons of gas. Should have got one years ago.
It took me two weeks and five days for this load which isn't too bad.

Great work Chris! Shed covered stack pics are always my favorite. I'm strange that way. But, that's why I get along so good with all the wood freaks on here

That pic is a thing of sheer beauty, especially to someone who knows what it takes, like all of us here do.....

I'm going to steal the pic for our Facebook page, Chris!

Good time of getting it all done! It's always nice to sit back and view the results, also.

Yep, the splitter helps saves the body that's for sure. Even with the splitter it's a bunch of work!

The fresh splits went right in the shed? How many years do you give them before burning them?

And here I am thinking a Luddite is similar to the Hutterite until Locus Post said he looked it up so I had to look it up. My brain is still scrambled I tried to work out some genealogies in the OT last night! :picard:

Unfortunately I'm still on the one year plan and will be until I get a second woodshed built.
