Miller lite or high life works for me too. MGD is also tastey. But then again there isn't many I'd say no to!

Twisted tea's have been a go to on hot days. Usually start with a brew and mix a few in. Don't sweat them out like brewski's. I'll be swillin when grillin!! Likely a few shipyard summer ale's. Wifey found Octoberfest which I'll wash down dinner with. Buurrpp!!

With me, it's my sons that give me a hard time. Until they run out and need more.

My buddies and some of the boys at work try to make fun of me for drinking Blue Smoothies (they say the alcohol content is low...pizz water). I always offer them a chance to sit next to me and go Smoothie for Smoothie with me, after I drive their drunk azz home and they have to call off work the next day, they remain quiet about alcohol content!

Wow, that is the first I knew of the event. The day before, they had a lock down of the school because of a shooting incident about a half mile from the school. Just goes to show, you aren't in a safe place anywhere. I am glad I live at the end of a dead end road.

Yesterday I went to Waly World and picked up some Made in USA towels. I actually started off in the mall, where I hit Sears, Penneys and other shops. But, couldn't find the color I wanted, the thickness I wanted, or they didn't have complete sets (bath towel, hand towel, wash cloths). I kept muttering, "Eon't make me go to Wally World. Don't make me go to Wally World." Well, although I dislike all the time I wasted looking for towels, I was happy to find what I wanted, with the bonus of being USA made, at the place I didn't want to end up at.

We took the air conditioner out. While we still have 80+ degree days, we have found that except for those really persistent hot spells, we are not running the AC. The ceiling fans seem to be enough.
I don't know when the cool temps will come back. That will be soon enough for me. For now, I continue to pick green beans, squash and chard from the garden. Have some tomatoes left, and peppers. Haven't have the ground fog we usually have either.

Opened the E paper today. It has an article about our VA in Maine celebrating its 150 th year. It is the oldest VA in the system. I worked there and retired in 2000. To my surprise, there on the front page of the e edition was a picture of my Rn daughter with a veteran patient. Cross posted in the wood cutter BS thread
