You can say that again . Old mans in hospital . GF is in preop right now . Moved the oldest daughter out of her aparent last nite due to a psychotic roommate (cops involved) .One of the biggest jobs I've contracted this summer the GC decided it had to start today with a 4 day timeline. I have a DOT physical next week and between the summer heat and stress my sugar is high and I'm sure my BP is high. Nothing like a full plate.

 

Take it one step at a time man. It will all come together. Wish the best to you and yours.

Thick fog here with rain moving in. We might have turned the corner on the hot weather for the season...long range forecast looks pretty decent but you never can be sure.

Making cider on Sunday. Not a good year for apples here...be lucky to get 50 gallons.

 

Hes getting 4 stints and possible gall bladder removal. He hasn't been good for 5 years. I think everything will be all right but have been prepared for the worst for quite awhile.
GF cancer preventative surgery. She's clean. Just preventative due to family history. She's one hell of a tough woman. This will be cake for her.
After moving last nite we stopped and got dinner out. I told all the kids if there's another self perpetuated clustastrophe in the next 10 days there's gonna be a boot in someone's azz !The daughter has been a walking cluster turd the last year and most of it could have been prevented .
Told her and her boyfriend goto work and go home . DO NOT talk to anyone , face crap anyone , twit anyone, or have anyone over for the next 10 days.
This contractor pulls this crap all the time and I've warned him several times starting a big job on a Friday isn't acceptable. A month ago he did the same dance. I was pizzed and let him know . After the week long job and busting azz I started shopping for the equipment I need to take these jobs from him.His customers love my work . I'm gonna cut out the middle man and control when I do the jobs.getting to old to march 24/7 because of someone else's poor planning.

 

Unloaded the rest of the lumber off the trailer this morning. That was a good size load to do by myself. Would have used neighbor's skid steer with forks but it all had to be sticked anyway so all be hand.

Took dogs to kennel for three shots that needed to be updated. Done and done.

Time for a dump run. Then lunch. Then ......

Last day of work for the week. It has been a little crazy but still fun meeting new students and saying welcome back to last year's students. I am going to enjoy my weekend.
