Getting a new truck, compare RAM EcoDiesel vs F150 Platnum??

Still searching... I'm 90% going with the Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn or Limited, just can't find the one I want yet (black with ramboxes, under 20k on it). But in the meantime if a deal on a black F150 Platinum shows up, I would consider that was well. Still haven't made GMC....

Yikes! If $50k for a used truck is "saving" money I'd hate to know what the new price is.

Whatever happened to real trucks a working guy could afford??

 

You can still get a 4 door qad cab V8 2wd ford left over model year mid 20s. Have plastic floor , no bed liner and steel wheels but a new truck. Every option spikes the cost

 

Also I have a 2016 Ram 1500 4x4 quad cab (4 full doors) off road package and off road tires, back up cam, v6 motor and bedliner. No other options really. Cloth seats and plastic floor and I know the sticker on this was like $32k
