$5 a cup, and it tastes like mud. I don't know why they're always packed. I feel guilty using a Keurig machine. I used to grind my own, but the pot would never get emptied and I am not a fan of reheated. The grind your own cups for the Keurig are good, but a pain to clean.

I just youtubed the sooteater, cool tool for sure.
The issue I just ran into is I have a thimble on my brick chimney
and a 90 after that. The sooteater rep said the product will not work on 90's.

Anyone here use this on a 90?

I think that's why everyone wants the old white rods. They are supposedly much more flexible.

Maybe if I get the kit that does pellet stove flues and use the whip for the 6" it might work?
I see the white rods with the pellet kits.

You are right. I used to have one for my pellet stove. That thing could be bent in a circle. If the head fits the flue size, then I think it could work.

Mine doesn't require me to have it professionally swept. You guys would laugh at the guide to safe woodburning they provided.

Boats are only money pits of you don't or can't work on them yourself. Also, don't get in over your head. A 30 foot scarab with twin supercharged big blocks is a $$$$ sucker.

I'm sure that's true. But if I buy a boat it's going to be at least 2000 HP. Who wants to boat slow?

Another trampoline bit the dust:rolleyes:. We left at 10am and returned at 3pm on Sunday and upon returning saw an odd blue and green object over a block away  Yep it was the lil ones second trampoline that we bought for her this July. Other items including a 12' x 6' heavy rug set on the patio for a cleaning were thrown around too. Then there was the new pellet bbq grill sitting untouched a few feet away. Interesting. I have seen tiny tornados on the lake before that swirl water a couple hundred feet up to the sky here, guessing that is what happened here. :picard:

I found a swingset for $80, the posts will get concrete so it wont blow away:rofl:

    Horses, yes. Boats, not always.

My boat has already given me 15 years of awesome experiences, it's only gained value since I restored it, and I've met some really awesome friends through boating on it. It also provides me with a way to exercise even when it's hot out.

Mine's fast and powerful enough to haul up 8 skiers at a time, if not more, but that's what I've topped out at so far.

300+ hp, 351 Ford v8, sounds great with dual 3" exhaust, and it's a classic ski boat.

It didn't cost me a fortune, but I'm really fortunate to own it.

I believe that there are a lot of people that own boats, that shouldn't.

I have no problem with boats. I have a problem with people who own boats complaining about not having money. Unless you are a fisherman you don't NEED a boat.

I can agree with that. If you have to have a new boat all the time, you'll go broke. They've only gotten even more ridiculous in the past 15 years. Those real pimpin' wakeboard boats are 80-130k. :bug:

I fixed my furnace and air conditioning tonight. It was out too long, mostly due to the online parts place sent the wrong control board before labor day. Had the right part been shipped, it would've been fixed on Saturday. Instead I got on the phone, but nothing would get sent until Tuesday due to the holiday weekend. Yesterday was hot. We broke a record. 94 and 72° dew point. Ugg.

I made this swamp cooler and duct tape and cardboard manifold.
    IMG_20160907_173727174.jpg
I filled it with ice, and direct wired the house blower to circulate the cooler air. It worked ok, but it was up against that crazy heat. It was cooler inside than out at least and the dogs were safe, but my wife had to stay at home with them.

I had the new control board in about 45 minutes, and it was much cooler in the house within another 45 minutes.

It's so nice to let the AC do the work and remove the humidity.
