It's in the NH "gazetteer" under Natural features or something like that.

WellSeasoned I am disappointed in you, you broke the carnal rule of New Hampshire living; you said all the virtues and now people will come in droves. :) What you are supposed to do is tell them how bad the winters are, how deep the snow gets, and how "miserable" you really are. NEVER mention that more people die from snowmobile accidents then murder. Oh yes, it is SO bad here. Always convey that...always!! :)

BTW: that was tongue in cheek, but it does bother me that some people come to Maine or NH from New York City or other places to escape the silliness and then try to change our little towns, and our great way of life, into what they are escaping from. Jeesh.

I did just the opposite, by understanding that I moved here to get away and keep away from city life. Learned how to shoot and hunt after we moved here. Wouldn't go back on a bet!

That's why I like the trails to be open enough so I don't have a surprise staring me in my face. Startle reflex is unpredictable. I rather they have a chance to see me and take off.

So true, they have had a tremendous impact on how this state is run. We always took care of families in need, but now we have forced welfare. So rich that it draws people here from around the world. Business has a hard time getting started. The dominate theme is "Not in my back yard" so now our educated youth leave this state for employment opportunities. Liberal folks vote like lemmings on a march. The foreigners in rich area vote to keep down growth in the poor areas.

Keep on clearing, you'll have enough time this winter when the snow in your area is three feet deep. :zip:

On the to do list. Major bees nest farther in, hopefully they are gone soon! Past two days, working under the deck, (beams were 32" apart , it's now up to code) finished a make shift storage shed for the garden tractor and splitter, for winter storage, a few areas needing caulking, and final pellet stove cleanup tomorrow. I REALLY want to start processing wood!
