from my firewood guy, and he's about to start cutting for this year. I told him to start with a cord or so, and asked about the price for splits (some may remember that he's been bringing me rounds). For the paltry sum of $5/"face", he'll split. I said in a very non-nonchalant way (in a text)that that would be fine. Jeez, it takes me an hour, with a hydraulic splitter, to do that. He uses a maul. He's a good sized youngun, at about 6'6", so maybe it's a leverage thing.Or would that be momentum? Anyway, this will save me a bunch of time. Should start around the end of the month.
Gooder than old guy abuse. This kid works his patookus off...did I spell that right? I remember working hard like that when I was a youngun. Now, I only hardly work. Going rate around here is upwards of $65, and some want you to pick it up at that price. I think I found a deal. Same thought I had last year when I met him. Good kid.
Lol....I am right on a main route 202 really easy to find except Fedex has a hard time and if the regular guy on UPS is not on duty then they can't find me either....
