    Fresh off the boat! A friend of mine works on a scallop boat and saved 3lbs for me after his last trip. I gave a pound to my FIL and my dad and cooked our pound last night. Just some butter, oil, salt and pepper lightly. Served em over linguini with white sauce :drool:

    You ain't kiddin. These were about half that. Plus most of the "fresh" stuff you see in markets has already been frozen once. :(

    Or is shark fin..... scallops should be of different sizes. When they are all the same size, this can mean cookie cutter shark fin...... Very similar in taste
