I have an app for that and listen to it when I want on my computer. I think I get mostly fire dept stuff

 

when opportunity knocks,if im not home ,opportunity waits...i dont always cook my beer but,sometimes i do...stay thirsty my friends..

120 miles on the scooter today, included breakfast and late lunch with a couple IPAs Made quick repair on the bike, as she balked at starting a couple of times . Easy peasey loose battery terminal. Hooked truck up to trailer and checked operations of lights and tires.
Began cleaning of truck in preparation of leaving for Lake George car show Saturday. Will trailer bike up and take a day ( Friday) for a scoot into Vermont. Might ride west and meet up with friends for a Sunday ride too.
Watching NASCAR now after watching a little NHRA qualifying and Traxxis Shout out. Tomorrow will be a little extra sleep, truck clean, and BBQ with family.

Since Mom and Dad have been in town, they have been helping me with the heavy lifting, or in the case of yesterday, measuring, steadying and holding in place while I did fastening. Got the medicine cabinet up along with a wall cabinet for holding towels.



Just need flooring, but that will be a while. Will probably replace the commode too, just because everything else in the bathroom in new.

Thanks - has taken over a year since I started the demolition. Tough to work on it when it's your only bathroom. Did hire a carpenter, plumber and electrician to build a new wall (in which all the electrical ran) for the pocket door and install a bathtub to take the place of the oversized shower, but everything else has been done by me.

It will take a while for me not to marvel at seeing the vanity, instead of bare wall (or bare studs, as I was looking at for about 10 months) when I step out of my morning shower

One of the reasons I quit running BLOWS
EVERY time I had to call them for ????? I would get hold of someone I could not even understand that was not cooperative one little bit.

At least with Linux I can jump into the Forum/or online elsewhere and get an answer right quick.

 

Another FIRE morning.

Warmed up a bit yesterday and did not have a fire through the night, but cool in the house this morning and Kitty princess was complaining.

Much more rain (Relative term) tomorrow and cool showery weather through the week.

I have the one Prodigy that I completely rebuilt still left.

Soon as the weather cools a tad and a sprinkle or two falls, the folks come looking for stoves.

My Daughter and Son in law are moving into their new house (Started construction in June) and they will be hauling out a lot of their stuff out of my basement I will have a buttload of room

I had a copy of Vista for a while.

Then an I T friend gave me a commercial copy of 7 pro, and that was good until the license ran out and I started getting Genuine advantage warnings.

Soon after was when I switched to Zorin (Linux)

Not found a reason to explore 8 or 8.1 or 10.

Nope.

New machine has ZORIN OS 9 LTS 64 BIT.

Soon as I can get it finished I will have green juice cooling my CPU instead of the noisy little fan that howls like a banshee

Still need a pump/reservoir and a few goodies.

Radiator all in and done.

Still shopping for exactly what I want.
