    Happy Labor Day Eve folks!

What is everyone's plans for Labor Day?

I'm squirrel hunting at daylight for a couple hours first, then archery practice and some scrounging for the rest of the day followed up with trail cam checks.

    Enjoy your day!

Morning plan is to do a little trim on the trail to where my tree stand will be real soon and get my trail cam set up. Go visit my Dad for a spell maybe and then cook some shish kabobs, sweet corn and potatoes w/green peppers. Wife is baking a pie in the morning so pie and ice cream with the other goodies.

Right where I want to be.
I'll probably split the last 5 rounds of Beech, and get it stacked.
Might make spaghetti for dinner, or possibly tacos (I'll ask the wife what she prefers).
Some time in the shop would be nice.
Also, continue the education of our local chippy population on how to nap.

I'll be laboring. I'm in the middle of painting a friends vaulted ceiling, so I'll be working on a scaffold platform 12' off the floor. I wouldn't do it if I didn't need the money.

Well, I don't have a clue at this point. She worked 12 hr shifts at the VA hospital past three days. Has tomorrow off, so I don't think she'll firm up her plans until after she gets up tomorrow morning.

My son has been after me to go shooting. Bought a single shot .44 mag rifle last weekend that we need to get sighted in. The youth hunt is only two weeks away, so time is growing short. Treestands and trailcams were set two weeks ago. The best time of the year is nearly upon us!

Sleeping in, maybe some four wheeler recon, dropping of my wood truck for tranny eval, seems to drop a lot of fluid on hot manifold which I then can smell, usually after driving it 15 minutes or so. Shifts fine, so really hoping something minor

Heading to the woods at the crack of dawn to finish up a bit of clearing and split a bit of wood. Have 15' trench that need to be dug to bury the hot wire for a pasture so might do that if its not too hot. Had a neighbour proces 15 of our chickens today so will probably do a beer can chicken on the BBQ and spend time with the fam. Pretty much a perfect day for me:).

It's bawlztothewall season for us. No rest for the weary .I'll get some paperwork caught up in the morning with some errands, bank run and need to do stuff. Troubleshoot a valve leak on a tri axle and catch up on some maintenance mid day and later on one of our girls that's been out of the family loop for a couple years is coming over for grillin in the afternoon.

Banks aren't open, maybe it is just a drop off.
