Not a bad price and I assume that includes the files. Right on the break from the humidity. Surely seems good to be able to work at a decent rate outdoors again. Got quite a bit done these last few days. Today was forecast to be up around 80 but we didn't make it. That's okay with me but 2 days next week is expected to be 87 and that is too hot for me. Rain expected by Wednesday. Think I'll get the last of the food plots planted maybe Tuesday.

Yes sir, includes the files-end of summer work keeping me from putting out the trail cams and cutting a little, coming soon though-mast is everywhere here this year after a bum crop last year---and both the chestnut and walnut trees in my yard are dropping bunches-I don't have food plots so my farm is hopping with deer when the mast hits, not so much without...be here before we know it...enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend

I put out the trail cams usually early June. Been getting some good pictures until last week. Not one buck showed last week. Probably too busy rubbing velvet or at least I hope so. We'll no doubt start seeing new rubs most any day now but I have not yet looked.

My adjoining land owner to my farm has as well-he has photos of a good 8 that shed all his velvet in 3 days...our big boys have not yet shown up on his cams so I figure they're living on my place :whistle:. Between us we have some 700 acres so they could be anywhere...but come the rut...I have the hoes...I mean does.....:bug:

Big ones usually don't show up here until late October or early November. Not sure why but seems to always be that way.

My experience generally is we get them early on cam and then hope to see them during the rut...I've got a couple that will score in the 140's and then there's the 12pt I wounded with a muzzleloader 2 yrs ago, thankfully not mortally, he'll go in the 160's...I'll get my cams out within the next couple weeks and post any fruits in the game room

Great weather here yesterday, today and tomorrow but then September is gonna give us summer again around here for a couple of weeks it looks like. Now that the calendar has turned I am pretty eager for fall to get here.
