We actually picked up a pizza at Sergi's for the Mrs., but we ate it all on the way over.

 

Wow, nice job on laying the block. It's going up quick.

 

It looks great Mrs. Gasifier , what door will you let Mr. Gasifier use for his tractor?

 

When will the walls (wood) start going up?

 

Probably 3-4 weeks. I have to let it "set up" for at least three days. I have this stupid thing called work.

And I have to carefully backfill a little on each side of wall and compact as I'm going up. Lots of fill to do.

 

Wow!!! That's some strong stuff...you're already laying on your side!

 

Now we know who the lightweight is.

 

Relaxing after a 12 hour day of work. Watching something called Ancient ..... I forgot the rest. And reading my latest issue of Northern Woodlands magazine.

 

Wow, walked into the house tonight and felt relaxed for a change. Usually I'm thinking about work or bringing work home, not tonight. In fact, not for the weekend! I really, really need these next 3 days off. I may even go to bed early. Like 10 or so.
I'll just have to play it by beer.

 

Beautiful night with a nice breeze, cool weather, a fire a burning and we can hear the cheers from the high school football game a ways away.

 

I had to get my jaw worked on tonight in a friend's shop. A few screws and a new steel plate and it all lined up and closes tightly once again.















Small Littlestown vise, now ready to be put back in service.

 

Got a family reunion tomorrow for my wife's side.

But I was told to bring my guns...trap shooting and a pistol range.

I haven't busted clays in forever....sure to be embarrassing.

There may or may not be an after party in my shop since there isn't any beer allowed at the reunion (I guess because of all the Baptists and guns...whatever).

 

Caffeine going in. Looks like another nice day outside.

I hope those folks down south don't get too much more rain. Some already have too much.

 

Coffee in hand... music playing... packing up my drums (love this early morning laid back chance to sort things out and make sure I have everything) for another fun time at the Boothbay Lobster Wharf tomorrow noon. It's festival time in town with tons of activities going on. This may be the last time this year I get to play there. It's been one hell of a music summer... feel so much better, lost 25 lbs so far... and now, I'm ready to get back to the woods. It's starting to feel like fall in the mornings now, with temps in the 50s. Hankrin' for the sound of chainsaws... love it...
