Yea the m855 thing was stupid. My .30/06 loaded with premium partitions is much more deadly??? And way more armor "piercing" as they call it.

Then they will come for your high power weapon of mass destruction sniper rifle.

They talked about banning hollow points too.

The future makeup of the supreme court is going to be more important than anything else in determining our ability to live in freedom. In the mean time continue stockpiling. Food, water, medicine and ammo.

I dont remember all the details but yes regulations pushed through recently did force the closure of the last lead smelter in the US. The Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma border country has produced lead for over 150 years. However there are also waste sites and ghost towns in Oklahoma due to lead contamination. It's not much of a problem except for children.

.22LR was finally on the shelf around here for about a week...but that seems to have all been bought up. Still plenty of everything else out there at decent prices.

I've noticed lots of buying limits starting to pop up on websites. I don't see panic buying locally, but it's obviously starting on the www.

Posted this in the Reloading thread but it should go here:

My brother-in-law passed away this spring. He had probably gone a little overboard the last few years in his purchases. One hates to acquire things under circumstances such as this, but as the only other avid shooter/hunter in the family my sister passed it all on to me. Between his stuff and what I already had, I'm sitting comfortable at this point.

Cheaper than dirt doing what they do best...bend the customer over the night before an election :headbang:

66.6 cents per round. It was low 40's (cents) yesterday.

I have been doing well with PSA, aka, Palmetto State Armory. Also Midway good to me.

I like PSA also, good pricing if you are patient and wait for the "deals". Midway always seems to backorder me fore ever, but if it's in stock, I like them.
