Yes today was very nice and this upcoming week looks to be great at as well. This long weekend especially, high 70s day and high 50s night, low humidity. One of the best times of the year!

The need to be in their own yard not mine, getting run over will teach em that lesson :faint:

I can't see those screens, so they don't do me a dang bit of good (gawd I hated the lights and stuff that emanated from the screen from my moms MKX - only irritated me and I certainly couldn't tell what she was so happy about with the backup thing). Can't use a GPS except by sound either.

If I'm just going to turn it off, then I don't have a need for one, and the government shouldn't force me to have one. Not saying they aren't a good idea and helpful to some, or even most, people, just saying that I don't think the government should mandate it.

And, I will just stop with it there - If I had my way, law makers would be out of a job 360 days of they year!

i like all the gadgets my truck came with. back-up camera is especially useful to connect to trailers (which i do all the time) and to nose up to the pellet stack in the garage (i simply put it in rev for a moment to see how far in the garage i am). it auto connects my cell phone to the truck and the speakerphone works well. nav system is less intuitive and user friendly than the Garmin i had before, but not bad otherwise.

I don't want to go back to the "66 C10 283 4sp with 260 air conditioning :Dand armstrong steering and brakes :D

Because they need to go thru and repeal some of those stupid old laws from the 1800's like women can't wear pants, you have to have a permit to feed pigs garbage, no bathing of two babies in the same water at the same time etc.

Me, I would be happy to go back to my 1995 Toyota 4 runner if I could just upgrade the radio to play MP3's. It had power windows/doors/brakes/steering. It had intermittent wipers and a rear window defroster. Although it had AC - I don't think I ever used it, or rarely used it (the few times I had passengers). If it had cruise I am positive the most I used it was once (to test if it worked). 5 speed 4 cyl. and the hubs locked in when I muscled the selector into place (a lot better than hopping out and locking the hubs like my '87 4-runner). That is all I need or want in a vehicle.

I don't have kids and I don't have passengers, so I'm not judging those that want/need the stuff available today, it's just not for me.

Yeah, I can agree with the govt staying out of it. They have screwed up our lives enough already.

The back up camera is great for hooking up trailers. No need for my wife or my son to be back there. I nail it every time now!!

What a magical idea they had when it was first introduced!! I don't use it for backing up though. Only trailers!! :D
