    That was back in April when Lowe's was swimming in pellets and needed room for grass seed ,mulch , fert ...they were selling pellets for $99 / ton or $2 a bag

    Edit But not the Greene Teams they still were $7 / bag go figure

    I agree. Big box Is going to price themselves right into 99$ a ton this spring. Well there are plenty of people who will buy from big box reguardless.

    Of course, that's just a thought.

    I got the email as well.

    But with fuel/gas/oil prices where they have been??? I see Pellets taking a big hit this year to compete. They will start high, but they will drop. I have almost 2 years on hand, so no worries here. But of they hit the $99 that Jay seen last season? I will buy 10 + ton. Once gas and oil comes back (cyclical cycle, so it has to) I will be sitting on $250- $350 ton pellets.. Probably not GT's the way thier pricing is going. But the Chowchilla I bought was $199 a ton last year and I bought 6 ton.
