Really, not heavy stuff - I could move it myself if it weren't big and awkward (CleanFire knows what I'm talking about for the vanity and sink). The rest they just have to hold in place once I lift it and then I'll do the attaching part. Mom saws up fallen trees by hand for crying out loud, and dad runs 4-5 miles most days. I think they will be okay :)

Huffed more paint this morning (another coat of paint in the bathroom). Already had several cups of coffee before I started painting, plus did my usual perusal of FB, FHC, various blogs etc while I was getting myself motivated. Also started a load of laundry - reminds me, I need to hang it out and start more (doing blankets, pillows and other bulky stuff).
It kind of sucks waking up at 4:30 in the morning on the weekends. And yes, that was sleeping in . Starting to think it is time for food. I should mow sometime today as the grass is liking the cooler temps with heavy dews in the morning and occasional showers.

I might get a nap in for lunch - 15-30 minutes is my norm.

My Honda has a simple button on the dash as well. A permanent off would be preferable and maybe yours has that? As always, Google is your friend

I drove either and Edge or an Escape rental for almost 2 weeks when the Honda was in for a new bumper. I was really impressed with it. Roomy, comfortable and zippy as all get out. The Microsoft Sync thing was pretty cool even without using it to its potential.

Only Jeep that I'll admit to thinking of looking at would have been the Grand Cherokee....I drive some of the newer ones at work and I hate to admit it's a really nice vehicle. Other than that, the rest are junk. And Nissan.......only thing they make worth anything is the GTR. Now THAT is one wild car to drive.

    Sweet ride there Pete !!!

All the new gadgets in some cars are awesome to say the least. That park itself thing though....who pay if it malfunctions and hits something? That HAS to be in some legal verbiage somewhere?

Unfortunately, having to move all kinds of vehicles in the winter, I found out the hard way about Ford/Lincoln's "hidden" traction switch, and Jay is correct....it's hidden in the electronic display unit. Never made any sense to me.....one of Ford's better ideas???? NOT

Aint that the truth. My ex use to get mad at me for falling asleep at 8:30-9PM on weekends....like my body clock could adjust for Friday and Saterday nights:zip:

Although my work schedule has done that to me in about 10-12 years now, thank you very much !!

Thanks!! But you have a good point. I'd only use it it if I was desperate and found a spot I wasn't sure I could fit it in.....the sensors on the car actually measure the size of the spot and decide if the car will fit.
I'll be honest, when the dealer demonstrated it between 2 new 2017 cars in the lot, I almost closed my eyes when the front swung past the cars back bumper. But at least you have some control.......the driver works the brake & throttle, the car controls the steering.

    Very cool....

That I didnt know. The commercials make it look like the car does it all. By giving the driver the brake and throttle likely puts the liability with you. Makes sense.

For me, the best parking assist ever is the backup camera-every vehicle should have one. My Ridgline camera has a wide enough angle that it shows the entire bumper including the corners. I have had not problem parking the truck in Boston or any tight spot using this.

The Caddy back-up camera system shows the lines where the edge of the car will be going, AND they turn & curve when you turn the steering wheel to show where you'll end up.......so cool!
