Tomorrow we plan on bringing down two rotten pines by hooking a cable to the tractor and then around the dead pines, the third we'll do with the chainsaw. One of the dead pines has what I think is barbed wire in the trunk so when I buck it up I'll stay away from that section. We'll have some pictures tomorrow.
The fence runs through about three pine and another big ole maple in that area, maybe after tomorrow the wife will start calling me sparky.

I had a picture of two of the pine but deleted them last week when cleaning out some old photos, I'll have them for tomorrow afternoon. The tractor should pull both the dead pine down pretty easy.
I call my wife Sparky sometimes, just thought I'd throw that out there cuz I really don't feel like popcorn right now.

I decided early this morning that I would work by myself. The first pine came down on the third pull,two were in 4 wheel drive. This pine still is on the ground. The second pine was a much harder pull, I ended up having to make a cut from the back so I could pull it down.
I ended up moving the rounds from the second pine to the splitting area, we'll burn it outside this winter.
I also stacked this Ash (I hope) and then I loaded up the bucket with pine to take down the road to a neighbor who burns it outside in her fireplace. The tractor runs nice on the road in 4th gear.
She was the one who let us use her Kubota when we were making the outside fireplace with rocks. Since we have a chit load of dead pine, I'm sure we'll fill the buck up a lot more. She wasn't home when I dropped it off, she wanted to see the tractor so we'll make another run.
