X2 but some really dont want to do that kind of thing.

On my Honda Ridgline I can change the oil without even lifting it at all-just crawl underneath it and turn the wheels to get at the oil filter. No Jiffy Lube for me yet.

My Jeep I just got rid of I was able to do that. Just slide cardboard umderneath, while the oil was draining have a beverage, put oil back. Whole process was like 20 min with most of those doing nothing. Used Wally World oil for 130k of the 160k miles. No issues.

We have a 2013 Smart For Two Passion coupe for just "Giitin around" and a 1995 2500 Burb 4x4 for the tough jobs.

The Weeee little Smart is a great little rig.
Roomy enough to be comfortable and has enough room in the back for groceries and or maybe 4 or 5 bags of pellets :D

Lowest mileage in hot weather with the AC running and pulling the heavy grades up to the ranch here has been 28 and in cooler/damper weather will run about 34 and HWY running can get near 60

Took a trip from the ranch here 30 miles south of PDX up to Seattle and back running 65-70 mph and got 51 mpg

Park it in a mailbox

One liter 3 cyl in line over the rear wheels.
5 speed electrically shifted gear box with the option to shift it yourself

Anyone needing a great little rig that's cheap to feed as a commuter or for a couple old geezers to gad about should give these little rigs a good looking at.

A battery powered version is available too.

We looked at the battery ones, but we are just too spontaneous to live in a 75 mile range.

My neighbor has a battery Smart and drives 35 miles one way to work, plugs in and then drives home.

    Full battery both ways.

The Smart is a great little rig for many folks.

    Just my 2 Cents worth.

True, but you can't drink Smoothies @ the oil change place while waiting for the oil to drain out.
Or maybe you can !

Been a busy couple of weeks here, both ladies are officially back @ school - UNH in Durham NH and Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY for the oldest, that was yesterday's road trip.. Just your average 18 hour day.. :picard:

Props to all you City Folks - I had forgotten what traffic was like (or mentally blocked it out), I'm feeling like someone ran me over, backed up, and ran me over again.. I'm exhausted from the ride.

Today's highlight is changing the oil / filter on the '08 Taurus, aka: "The road warrior", helping my wife w/ the garden, chasing the wife around the garden, and relaxing. Clearing the 'trail of destruction' the ladies left here at the house (they always leave more than they came home with) can wait a day or two.

Beautiful day here today, perfect chillin' and grilling weather.
    :grizz:

Hope you all have an excellent day,
    Rob
