What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

I taught some rounds of hackberry who was boss, after work today. Perfect weather for it today. Hopefully the weekend will be more of the same so I can finish out the stack!



Sitting back watching the Dolphins play some preseason football, while enjoying a Blue Moon and some corn, popcorn that is.

 

Wasn't me buddy, but I wishes it was.

 

Finally up and at em. Caffeine going down. Went to bed early last night and slept until 7 am. Must of needed it, felt good. I guess I'll see if I can get some fencing put up today. Not my favorite work, but the weather looks like it will be nice. Have a good day today hoarders.

 

Off to buy some more insulation for the garage. Should finish the partition wall this weekend (no paint) and maybe get the 30 set in place with the LEGS not the pedestal!
I had help moving it last evening....loaded it into the truck with a tractor (forks) and then slid it down an atv ramp into the garage after removing the tailgate.
From there, I just raised one side at a time with a bar and put it onto a furniture dolly...done and almost in place!

 

Gonna be hot and sticky today.

 

Come to Iowa....maybe mid 70s today. Cross my fingers it holds for the weekend.

 

20 mph is fine. Any faster then your vehicle slowly self-destructs from the potholes...

 

Wouldn't the rate of one mile per 20 minutes equal to a speed of 3mph though?

I thought the same thing once I read the op...hmmm, 20mph....what's the complaint? But then, the old math skills clicked in.

 

I knew we were getting showers this morning so I sent the truck out for an oil change and tire rotation and since I'm no computer guru I blocked out the morning for a new wifi router install. Yup, I had the techy on the phone with me fixing something I did wrong...it's working now. Now, what to put on the grill tonight??

 

Today was spent clearing out a shed with a metal roof, boy was that hot. The old style television and a old pullout sleeper couch are gone.

The hauler who came to the house I was working at came with a truck with a 8 foot bed, I told him he would need a bigger truck so he had another truck in the area that he grabbed, we filled that up real quick but he took everything I had ready.

 

400 ft. of 60" non-climb horse fence installed today by myself. Oh, okay. With the help of a heavy loader backhoe, a few chains, a fence puller, and a come-a-long. I tired! Dinner!

 

Yes. Just finished eating dinner. Wife cooked steak and baked potatoes on the grill! Now going to watch a movie with the kids. If I don't fall

Schlot jumps in the truck, 2.5 hours later at the site. "Ok, let's get this figured out"

Contractor for client "Why are you here, I told the client we wouldn't be ready until Monday"

Client "Oh, I thought the contractor said he was ready"

Lol.

Worked out ok...took my mom out for dinner, which was fun. Getting ready for the trip back home now.
