First load of the summer or cutting season, how ever you want to say it. I think the last wood I cut was early summer late spring.

Had a logger in some hardwood blow down and took advantage of it and had him load some jump butts, knotty pieces and otherwise culls.

Any estimation guesses? I have mine. It's not a game , I'm not giving a prize just wondering what others think. 2016-08-25 20.23.55.jpg

Can you see it? Having technical difficulties here and can't get it to load?

I have no idea why it's not taking my pic? Closed browser. Closed extra apps. Restarted phone?

My guess was no more than 2?

Judging by the way it squashed the tires and wanted to rip the truck off the road I'd have to say there was close to 5500 6500lb of wood on there.? I tow around 5000 total weight including the trailer all the time and it's nothing compared to this load.

I love your Chevy. My 2nd pick up was a 79. Very nice load of wood also.

The tires do look quite squished! I would guess somwhere around the 2 cordish mark.

To be fair those are car tires on the back like 205/70/15 there smashed down and there at max sidewall pressure. The front axle has new 205/75/15 trailer tires load range D aired to max 65PSI. They still show quite a bulge.

Let me see. That trailer is about 18 ft long and about 6ft wide. 2 1/2 to 3 cord. Just a guess from the picture.

This is where I am at. I know it takes two good sized stacked loads in my 8 foot pickup to make a cord so I just sort of used that for comparison.

16ft by 6.5ft. A tiny bit of overhang though on back 2 logs you can't see:rofl: , but that won't make much difference as there is a tiny gap on the front close corner. Ha!

I'm with woodsman416 on both counts-nice load and nice truck  I'll say closer to 2 than 2.5, 2.2 to be exact?
