Shed's almost full

Yep, and it'll be here before ya' know it.

 

After the rain yesterday, skies cleared somewhat and we got some wind.
More of that today, so when I checked the stacks, the wood was dry enough to move......which is what I did.
Several loads later, and the shed is as full, fuller actually, as I need it to be.
I'll move the Oak to make room for that box of kindling, then fill that space with some Ash kindling I have

Coulda done without the heat, but it wasn't too bad once in the shade. Nice breeze.
Mowed a couple of the paths in the woods after I got done with the firewood. Then I did some of the yard and part of the ditch.
I love my tractor.

A full wood shed will make you feel warm all winter

That all you typically need (6.5 cd) for 1 burn season ?

 

Usually 5, Dave, but I always put in extra just in case.
Last year was somewhere in the area of 4, with the warmer weather most of the winter.

 

Yea same here, a milder winter than "the norm" last year .
We had more rain than snow last year .

But having a little extra in case "Global Warming" is just a temporary event, is a good thing.

This keeps up though, my 3 year plan will be 4 soon
