Looks like one of my favorite Kiln dried pellets are not being produced anymore by Energex. My Stove dealer E&E Chimney has only the mountain of Ash Green/Blue bag Hardwoods [Step brother of Stove chows]. But he is carrying Turmans. Energex - One Company, Many Pellets. Making North America's Best Wood Pellet Fuel for Over 20 Years.
Energex didn't go under just stopped making that flavor , Tony said is was a very limited run and not available every where .
They didn't take off like they thought they would. With oil price so low. And pellet sales went soft. Seems some of the niche brands just didn't sell as well as expected. Gonna focus on the stuff that does sell. For now anyway.
Dealer only at first. Then offered to HD. Biggest issue was time to change to it. Required a mill clean out(all bins, hoppers silos ect). Which was labor intensive and costly. Then sold in less volume than their every day stuff. With the money/sales crunch. Best to stick to your bread and butter from what I was told. The biggest issue with the mills is sales and keep costs in check to keep competing. Mistakes or wasting $$ would only increase chances in failure IMHO. Keep it lean.
If that beer never made It to supermarkets and only made it to one gas station 3 states over between the hours of 4 and 4.02pm on the third saturday of the month only if the wind was blowing south at 5mph and only 5mph on the dot
