Something weird happened to my saw...any ideas?

    That cylinder will clean up easily.:thumbs:

    Is the piston in backwards? The ring ends should be to the intake side, but looks like they are on the exhaust side unless you twisted them around. That would cause it to score.

    I moved them around as I was inspecting everything...but they weren't on the intake side...they were on the starter side.

    Is that the ring locator pin on the right side- lower ring land of the piston? Looks just like a ring pin there, but it may not be..
