Poking around local pellet shop websites to see where prices are at, and starting to see a new brand called Northern Warmth pop up. OK, I haven't actually *seen* any yet, but Rogers in Millbury for example recently updated their website, showing this product line for sale. They used to sell all three flavors of Okanagan and now they are replaced with Northern Warmth Douglas Fir, Super Spruce, and Purely Pine.
You gonna grab a few bags to test? Prices kinda high IMHO, but maybe I am spoiled since I paid $99 a ton for the twelve ton I have.
Come on, Whats the surprise? tt, I did a google on "Northern Warmth" didn't really get much. I gonna put some bird seed out and see who flies in.
Did you notice the pictures? Ive seen them before. Looks like shots from Woodpellet review site. But they had Okies bags pictured for the super spruce......... I sent an email to Rob Anderson. Looks like his handy work as he's a site builder....
Those bag graphics are strangely close to oakies. The horse and other labeling and the performance data. Vridis? Rebagged product from oakie peak? Maybe the upton plant took all the product because of failure to pay and rebagged it.
Little birdy told me International Pellet. Should lead detective tt to something interesting.......... Gonna google it now. Bag graphic's do look "VERY" familiar. I have not seen anything that says Viridis went bankrupt. Only Okanagan so far as I can see. I would bet large amounts of $$$$ that Ol Mr. Warm will show up somewhere!!
Ohh and as for the bird seed. Not much traffic at the bird feeder. Seems that I only got the clams and crickets attention. Must be a big cat lurkin in the forest???
On the Super Spruce bags you can make out Princeton pellet corp which leads to Eagle Valley when google'd!! tt, IIRC you mentioned burning these??
