You guys up north are getting the rain. Here its mid-upper 70's, no rain and still high humidity. So windows open from and everything feels wet inside.

Tomorrow will be back to 90 deg and dew point of 71 . At least it will be ac weather again and at least feel good inside. I use to skimp on running ac-still do to a small point but the older I get the more I say screw it, I want to be comfortable when inside. Last month ran more ac than usual and the elect bill was only 88 bucks-I was expecting more like 110-120. Next month will be higher as it has more billing days in it and the ac will likely be on more with all this weather.

soo hot this morning at 9 AM i was sweating in the shade. decided not to try to cap the roof and did a couple of small tasks at the farm. then i went to my building where we are fitting out 4000 square feet for a new tenant where there is air conditioning. it's not often you can drive me indoors besides winter. did some electrical work - will continue tomorrow. off to a friends 1st childs 1st bday party this pm. :pete::drunk::cheers::chef: My wife hasn't seen much of me this summer, so i got to even that up some.

We hit the lake this AM and nearly left by 10:30 AM. So hot it had all the bass in deep water. So we couldn't even duck in the shade. Luckily the wind started swirlin and we got a few clouds. Even with multiple applications of sun screen we kind of look like raccoons!! It was worth it we figured them out eventually and we pulled in a few decent fish.

Even after dark, you are still showing up at 92F. It was total overcast with showers here today. Temp never went over 74F Now 63F. I don't know how you tolerated baking in the hot sun on the lake. Now with a sunburn, you will be lucky if you get any sleep.

We had at least 3 different periods of rain yesterday and last night. Not much of anything today. No water running into my sump in the basement, so the ground water is still low.

Hot & really muggy all day, and thunder boomers all evening. Got a little rain, but I see much more coming on the radar. Looks like repeats of this every day this coming week. YUCK

Well the heat has cooked me the last week, I believe to medium rare. The shop has been horrible so I am staying in today except to get some brunch with the kids. No motorscootin or mowing. I should really take my stove out and do the fall deep clean but not gonna do that either. We have had a few good rain / thunder storms this week which was good for our well. A good rain storm this afternoon will be welcomed, we need it plus I won't feel as bad about not riding, mowing or fishing.
