Caught my personal best Smallie this weekend. 19" and a solid 4.5 pounds. Man did it put up a fight! I love smallie fishing!

Limited out on perch Saturday in 3 hours kept 150 all 8" or better. Threw back a ton of fish though to get these. Had quite a few +10" fat perch that filleted out to some pretty good chunks of meat!

I think perch are the best eating freshwater fish there is. Deep fried with a little hot sauce. Yeah buddy! Now I want some, bad! My buddy just had a big bluegill fry and there were some perch he had left in the freezer that he made with them. I ate myself sick that day.

The perch was fantastic eating. We fried a ton of it up and ate ourselves sick! We still ended up freezing 6 quart bags full.

Headed out large mouth fishing here in just a few minutes. Just need one more cup of coffee. Caught a whole bunch this size yesterday and I also caught a 10 pound sheepshead on light bass tackle...... Talk about a fight!

Went out this morning and caught 48 bass between 6:30-11AM. The bass fishing up her is just unbelievable. All were caught on a drop shot rig. None of them were crazy big but only a few were under 12".
