Canyon party tonight.
Celebrated the B-Day of the host, it was a good time (live band, lots of people, ..good connections-)
I got caught up on what's been happening in the canyon. Plus... I have another area to harvest wood, - connections.
Oh yeah... my "local" bear is not the cutsie 'lil 150 lb'er anymore. Spotted twice this week, est. 350 -400 lbs. Brown with a blonde face.

"Bear" is in for a lesson pretty soon. I'll sit back and watch.

Well, my water pump parts for my motorcycle arrived yesterday in the USPS. I'll be replacing the seals on that today. It was dripping coolant from the weep hole. It doesn't look too bad of a job, no major disassembly required as it's accessible from the outside of the motor, under a couple small bolts. The rubber seals go bad, then this happens.

After replacing the steering cable on my ski nautique on Wednesday and Thursday night, I could use a little easier project. That was a pita for something that was supposed be a 1 hr job.

 

Just got done stacking. Im drinking beer the rest of the day and watching the Olympics.

Woke up in the middle of the night to a small thunderstorm. We don't usually get those here and when we do, it more often is in the winter time.

TWO weeks left of my holidays and still lots to do or not as the case may be. Got an hour before the Jays play so I should get busy and not sit here and surf FHC - right?

Gasifier how did the logging go on the property or have you started that yet?

 

Only 2 weeks left? I guess summer is about over then.

How much time do you get for a summer break?

 

Between six and seven weeks. I work a week after school is official out and two weeks before it starts again so my summer break is shorter than a teacher's, teacher's aide or student.
