The weekend just before the vacation started on a Monday, I got sick. Yup, summer colds are the worst! that same old respiratory violent coughing producing spit out stuff sort of thing. No fever though. 99 almost canceled vacation-probably should have.

Hope the rest of you don't have to go through it.

I still would have offered $60 and repainted it the original white paint..

Probably would have still brought at least $400- $500.

It was still there today. The cracked side plate was the killer. There still has to be a few hundred worth in parts I bet.

It IS a little town that I live in of ~6k people (not as small as previously at 1200, but still small). I've been here almost 3 years and a bunch of regs have changed. Of course they may have tightened up the fire permits because of the drought, and they could be less stringent next year if we get a normal snowfall and normal spring rains, so my boo-hooing may be all for nothing.

Thanks rotti. Woke up feeling like a train hit me this morning. Thankfully baby piney seems to be feeling better but I'm gonna keep her home today just in case. At least it's beautiful out and we can spend some time outdoors.

Good morning, gonna' be upper 80's today and humid.
Gotta' dozen chores that could use my attention and little interest in tackling any of 'em,,(that's probably why I have so many!!)
Bought paint for touching up around here and realized I have my ladder loaned to Hippie Bob for his barn build.
How does so much crap pile up in the garage,,where does all of this STUFF come from??

Had a fun day yesterday. Instead of canning tomatoes, we drove 3.5 hrs., went out for lunch, went and watched "The Secret Life of Pets" and drove 3.5 hours home. Long day but fun. Asked the dogs when we got home "What did you do today?" Didn't get a straight answer.

What do you call a group of tukeys? Not a flock is it? And how many do you need in a group?

Excerpt, straight from Michigan DNR site.............

"Most people are familiar with the term "flock of pigeons" and even "gaggle of geese," but did you know that a group of turkeys is called a "rafter"? And baby turkeys are called poults."

Yeah after my 10year anniversary at this residence(this month) I started pondering a bigger shop - then realized it would be full before I even started sketching the blue print:D
