Probably not, but I have bought dozens of items from them since they opened. They gave me this weed whacker because the throttle lever was broken. It was less than 2 years old, spent $1.68 on the part and it has been cutting ever since.
Good you have a relationship like that. Nice score on the weedwacker. I had and still have a troy bolt 4 cycle weedeater. I hated it. It was not clutched and spun all the time not allowing it to be rested on the ground. I need to toss it. All the fuel lines are rotted I think is the only thing, but I have an echo and a cheapie $70 big box one I was given. I did a muffler mod on the latter and the thing actually has power now.!! I would of scooped up the comp gauge too. Mine crapped out here awhile back.
Priced at $69 with the case, just came out last week. I bought a Stihl hedge trimmer from them 10 days ago but don't do a lot of volume there. I will check tomorrow.
I was hope in you would say like $30 or 35. I don't use one that much. Handy when you need one or selling a saw or checking one out.
Those were my sentiments when I started the thread. Also, it's a 391 not 361. Definitely a difference in retail price between the two.
This Dolmar 7310 was $100 out the door at a pawn shop 20 miles east of here. Don't think they knew what they had, ran great and just needed new AV buffers.
Was in another pawn shop and they had a 28 volt Milwaukee battery and charger in a locked case with a $5.00 price tag. I asked the clerk twice if it was part of a set and he checked and said no. I bought it as I have a number of Milwaukee 28 volt tools. Fast forward 3 weeks and I stopped in the same shop again. Found a Milwaukee 28 volt hammer drill on the shelf. I already have 2 but I took it to the counter and asked if they had a battery for it. They checked and finally came back and said no. I told them it wasn't much good without a battery and a new one wcosts north of $100.00. They offered to me for $10.00, i got the drill, battery and charger for $15.90 with tax.
Gary I bet your wife really loves you, that or she does not set foot in the basement or garage? Or she's as much into tools and stuff as you??
I did, I think they were asking $150. I showed them the saw was not safe to operate and then proceeded to remove it from their inventory before anyone was harmed.
I had been looking for a used gas powered drill for the business. Everyone around here wanted at least $300 for one. I told Gary and he found a BT 45 at a pawn shop and shipped it to me for $200. When I got it I thought it was a bit of a luxury but it is really handy for what I do.
Rob, I wish I still had that one rather than the Echo that I have now. Both came from my honey hole, they have treated me well. I spent 10 minutes working on a Mac 3/8" ratchet that I got from them that would free spin in both directions. Took it apart and cleaned and oiled it and after putting it back together it works like a charm. The hardest part was finding a T-7 Torx to take it apart. A picture of the BT-45:
