We are in a severe drought with 5 inches of rain shortage from normal. Rain is predicted the next few days so we will see how it goes.

We got essentially no rain, while every where else in this state got dumped on. Last night we got .13". Nothing today though, while just north of us got an inch in one hour, and just south of us got 3" today. My city, and 2 others in my vicinity got nothing from today's rain. It's just so weird.

Not yet, we're mostly sand here and we had water ponding on top of the sand.

fishingpol ,this is just a guess but I'm thinking about 0.75 inches of rain, it's not a lot but it we got it real quick.

Is the kippers just a prop to get people to not eat at your house or did you actually put that stuff in your stomach? I've seen worse I guess, pickled herring ranks right there.

Herring and sardines are very good for you.

I'm 50% Norwegian, and I bought some sardines just the other day.

    Good stuff.

We mush that up and call it chum. I love seafood. With or without shells. Cooked or raw. There's just some things just not for human consumption in my tiny mind. No doubt it's good for you but I've tried it and just can't do it again.
