    Spur of the moment date to the shop to try out a flea market grill find. Only the finest wines would do with two nice rib-eyes and green chile sausage. I failed to monitor my wife's wine intake, but that wasn't a bad thing. :) Check out the 1975 vw Scirocco engine in the background.

    My brother and I had a barn full of type 1 parts, my first car was a Rabbit, we were VW junkies- always tweaking bugs, my '71 Ghia, and running the bugs on the beach on the Long Island Sound.....those were the days!
