2 of honeys kids cant read cursive. Seems they have stopped teaching it?

This is the same new generation that feel addressing you by name in a text or email doesnt make sense. They feel that since you are already emailing or texting someone, you dont use their name such as "Hey Jake. Can you pick up your sister?" The "Hey Jake" part is apparently unnecessary. I wonder if when you boot them in the azz to teach them some manners and etiquette I guess you dont have to tell them why either

Looks what one of my sons is getting out of his garden!

 

Private jets have been in and out of the Augusta Airport all yesterday and more today. Seems this is Camp weekend at the private summer camps for kids. (We live under a flight line to our little airport.) Some kids get dumped there for a month, for others it is all summer. They come from all over the world. Couple of years back my daughters did some nursing at one of those camps. In return, their kids got to go there.

Actually didn't get dry, but dried a bit before putting it up and getting out of the path of the storm. I did toy with the idea of leaving it out for a rinse - but was extremely glad I didn't, the way the gale was blowing every which way.

 

That is an awesome haul!

 

This morning I mostly goofed off, then about noon started taping and mudding the walls I installed in the bathroom last weekend. I'm a messy muccer - but get the job done eventually. Did all walls and corners pictured as well as the ceiling above that entire area pictured. Won't get any further until next weekend but it is progress, so I will take it.



Then I made a batch of shower gel (I only use homemade) - enough for the next several moths. Oh, I also made a big batch of taco meat mix since 90% fat-free hamburg was on sale for less than $4/pound. Had to get 3 pounds, so that is what I cooked up. It will go great on my lunch salads during the week!
